The spiritual journey doesn’t move in a straight line. As soon as it starts to feel like smooth sailing, and we think we can predict what’s ahead, we’re soon proven wrong. It’s just the way it is. As Pema Chodron and others remind us, life consists of coming together, falling apart, coming together again, and falling apart again. Real life is always like this — though we long for one without struggle or challenge.
For many of us, Hurricane Helene and the recent General Election are stark reminders that reality is our best guide. It wakes us up — even when it feels like a rude awakening. On Tuesday, Dec. 3rd at 7:00 p.m. EST, Center for Spiritual Wisdom will host an online presentation and discussion titled After the Storm: Spiritual Wellness in the Wake of Helene and the Election.
