Our strongest gifts are usually those we are barely aware of possessing. They are a part of our God-given nature, with us from the moment we drew our first breath, and we are no more conscious of having them than we are of breathing.
― Parker J. Palmer, Let Your Life Speak

Join us for a young adult book study exploring the subject of vocation with Parker Palmer’s Let Your Life Speak: Listening for the Voice of Vocation. In this book, Palmer utilizes several essays to demonstrate personal and communal perspectives to discover the higher meaning of genuine self and purpose in our lives. This program is geared towards the spiritual journeys of young adult seekers. Led by Colin Rice, CSW Assistant for Communications & Operations, and Abby Glass, a friend of the Center and local Youth Minister. Together they will explore how Palmer’s work may help young adults navigate the seemingly endless wilderness. Young adults ages 20-30 are invited to experience this wayfinding venture. Please share this offering with any young people in your life and invite them to join.

The Young Adult Book Study will be held on February 6, 13, 20 & 27, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd (Room 6).
Although there is no charge for this offering, please register in advance.
