Join us Tuesday, Aug. 6 at 7:30 PM via Zoom for a free information session about the Center’s upcoming pilgrimage: Thomas Merton’s Interspiritual Journey & The Festival of Faiths Nov. 10-16, 2024.
The information session will present an overview of renowned Trappist monk Thomas Merton and the Center’s upcoming pilgrimage to Louisville, Bardstown, and Gethsemani, Kentucky.
In the 1-hour session, pilgrimage leader and CSW Director Rob Field will discuss:
- Why Thomas Merton is considered one of the most significant English-speaking spiritual teachers of the 20th Century
- How Thomas Merton inspired the interfaith, interspiritual focus of the upcoming pilgrimage
- How a pilgrimage differs from a typical group or educational tour
