Join Us for a Guided Personal Retreat

Begins Friday, March 19 at 6:30 p.m. (Eastern)

Ends Saturday, March 20 at 5:00 p.m.

Registration includes Reflections & Optional Spiritual Guidance

We are living through the most unusual year in our lifetimes, and many of us are ready for rest and renewal — a time to re-focus on God and our souls. That’s the idea behind Alone Together, a virtual personal retreat March 19-20. It will feature CSW associates (all experienced retreat leaders) Tom Lewis, Jean Woods, and Paula Benton. You choose a quiet, restful place for the retreat, and they will offer the structure and spiritual support via Zoom video conferencing.

Why plan a personal retreat? “Retreat is a deliberate attempt to place your life before God to seek a deeper awareness of the Divine Presence” (author Ben Johnson). Starting soon, many Christians will observe the season of Lent, a time of deeper reflection and spiritual renewal — an ideal time for a personal retreat. Although COVID prevents us from creating a safe in-person retreat, modern technology makes it possible to enjoy a solo retreat, knowing you’ll be accompanied by others who are doing the same thing, at the same time. Alone Together.

During the retreat, you can expect plenty of time by yourself in silence, punctuated by periods of prayer and two scheduled, optional reflections by the retreat leaders. Plus, you will have the opportunity for a 30-minute, 1-on-1 consultation via Zoom with one of the retreat leaders for spiritual guidance.

This is a great opportunity to grow in your relationship with God, eliminate distractions, reduce stress, and “come home” to your spiritual nature. Participation is limited. Registrations, at a cost of $45 per person, are now being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
