Women’s Retreat for Renewal, Contemplation, & Community Oct. 27-29

Join Center for Spiritual Women for a transformative and enriching retreat for women October 27-29th at Lutheridge Conference Center in Arden, N.C. Led by Judith Davis and Jean Woods, the retreat will Explore Women Mystics and focus on how the lives of female mystics can inform our own. Together, Judith and Jean will create a nurturing and empowering space to delve into the wisdom and spirituality of four remarkable women mystics, ranging from the ancient wisdom of St. Julian of Norwich and  St. Hildegard of Bingen to the 20th century brilliance of Dorothy Day and Mary Oliver.

“The greatest challenge of the day is: how to bring about a revolution of the heart, a revolution which has to start with each one of us?”  – Dorothy Day

Discover what the lives of these four mystical women can teach us about what it means to live compassionately, both with ourselves and others in today’s modern world.  This retreat will feature engaging lectures, discussions, and reflection centered on the profound insights and spiritual teachings of these four mystics. Special emphasis will be given to the themes of letting go and nurturing compassion. Throughout the retreat, participants will be encouraged to explore their own inner awareness by opening their minds, hearts, and bodies through contemplation, dialogue, and meditation within  a supportive community of women.
